As winters are just around the corner, and it gets a bit chilly at night time i though to welcome winter 2014 with halwa and made Egg Halwa 🙂 as winters and halwas. SO lets just jump right into the recipe.
“Egg/Anday ka Halwa”
Oil 3/4 mug ( i used mug)
Sugar 1 mug
Malai or Cream 2tbsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Vanilla Essence 2-4 drops
Almonds for garnishing
- In a blender put eggs, oil, sugar , malai or cream, ghee and vanilla essence and blend into a well combined mixture.
Heat a wok and put in the mixture , cook on low to medium flame till the mixture separates oil. Keep stirring mixture continuously.
As the mixture separates oil , transfer the mixture into an already greased tray. Quickly smooth the mixture and cut into pieces as it will start to harden at that moment.
4.Tilt the tray abit so that the oil gets completely separated from the mixture.
- Leave it to cool on room temperature.
Egg Halwa is ready to serve !! 🙂
